Dr. Hudai Kara is the Founder and CEO of CageSuite Limited, bringing over 25 years of expertise in life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint management, resource efficiency, low-carbon sustainable technologies, critical metals research, database and software development. 

Dr. Peter Lee is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of CageSuite Limited, leading global sales operations and driving the commercial growth of CageSuite’s sustainability software solutions. With 25+ years of experience, he has worked with manufacturing clients to implement waste minimization, resource efficiency

Hudai Kara - BSc MSc DPhil - CEO

Dr. Hudai Kara is the Founder and CEO of CageSuite Limited, bringing over 25 years of expertise in life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint management, resource efficiency, low-carbon sustainable technologies, critical metals research, database and software development. With a strong background in materials science, he has worked across industries ranging from metallurgy and chemicals to energy, construction, and materials security.

He believes in the need for primary, high-quality and sector & company specific data to power sustech and climatech solutions to empower businesses to manage their sustainability targets and decarbonisation efforts. At CageSuite, Dr. Kara leads the development of life cycle inventory databases, sector specific database and datasets, bringing his many years of industry experience and expertise in life cycle assessment and emission factors.

As a leading LCA practitioner and trainer, Dr. Kara has evaluated the environmental profiles of numerous products, many of which have been third-party verified for Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). To date, he has completed 200+ LCAs for over 400+ third-party verified EPDs and has independently verified over 250 EPDs for diverse products worldwide. He is a recognized expert in ISO 14040/44, ISO 14020-25, ISO 14067, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, EN 15804, and EN 15978. He is the former Chairman and current Technical Committee Member of the International EPD System and a Technical Advisory Board Member for the EU PEF Initiative.

Dr. Kara has served as an EU Research Evaluator, assessing projects under Horizon 2020 (FP7), Eureka, Eurostars, Cornet, and Eco-Innovation funding streams. Previously, he held research and advisory position at the University of Bath, Johnson Matthey Plc, and Oakdene Hollins, where he advised DEFRA, the Department for Transport, WRAP, and private clients on sustainability, materials security, carbon, and waste management.

Dr. Hudai Kara holds a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Materials Science from the University of Oxford.. 



Peter Lee, PhD - CCO

Dr. Peter Lee is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of CageSuite Limited, leading global sales operations and driving the commercial growth of CageSuite’s sustainability software solutions. With 25+ years of experience, he has worked with manufacturing clients to implement waste minimization, resource efficiency, and sustainability strategies through Lean manufacturing principles.

As an expert in circular economy, carbon reduction, and sustainable supply chains, Peter has delivered over 150 projects for private companies, trade associations, and public sector organizations. His work spans waste prevention, logistics, packaging, carbon reduction, and energy efficiency.

Peter has advised global corporations and institutions, including Microsoft on repairability, Apple on recycling legislation, Samsung on sustainability benchmarking, and Tesco on supply chain optimization. He has also worked with the European Commission, Defra, and the Food and Drink Federation on various resource efficiency and waste management initiatives.

He has contributed to major reports for the European Commission and Defra, covering best environmental management practices, Lean techniques in manufacturing, and sustainability in the packaging sector.

Peter holds a BEng in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a PhD on the influence of fluids on sliding metal surfaces.

At CageSuite, he shapes the commercial strategy for CageCBAM, CageCarbon, CagePCF, CageLCA, CageEPD, and CageESG, ensuring businesses maximize the platform’s sustainability solutions for compliance and impact reduction.



David Parker, BSc. MSc. MBA. - CTO

David Parker is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of CageSuite Limited, overseeing the development of the CageSuite platform and its technical innovations. With over 25 years of experience in remanufacturing, sustainability, waste, and resource management, he has worked extensively in circular economy solutions and sustainability-focused software development.

David has designed and implemented sustainability-driven digital tools across various industries, leveraging his background in process engineering. He previously spent 14 years at ICI and DuPont, holding roles in software design, process design, plant operations, R&D, engineering, commissioning, project management, and techno-commercial investment analysis. Now an independent expert, he applies his diverse expertise to help organizations identify and implement near-term opportunities in the circular economy.

He has led the development of remanufacturing processes, managed the DEFRA-funded Center for Remanufacturing and Reuse, and advised the European Commission on circular economy policies. His work spans investment in biochemicals, process scaling, and raw material management strategies, with experience in risk analyses and market efficiency evaluations for private sector clients.

David Parker holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University and an MSc in Applied Mathematics and Business Administration from Cranfield University.



Paul Vaughan, BA BSc. MSc. Env. - CFO

After a career in accountancy and management consulting, Paul joined the UK Government’s Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) moving onto Oakdene Hollins in 2008. In 2017 Paul set up his own consulting business specialising in ecolabel advice and research. Since then he has continued to deliver the EU Ecolabel scheme with UK Ecolabel Delivery and assisted in developing sustainable forestry criteria for the GPP and the EU Ecolabel schemes for DG Env. His work with the EU Ecolabel scheme over 10+ years has included technical advice on criteria development, representing the UK in Brussels and working with applicant companies. Paul has an MSc in Environmental Management for Business from Cranfield and a BA from the University of Warwick. His MSc thesis was on the subject of product re-use. Paul has worked extensively across European countries in his current and previous roles.


Selin Solak - BA MSc Marketing & Communication Executive

Selin Solak is the Marketing & Communication Executive at CageSuite, leading global marketing initiatives and brand positioning. She has experience in sustainability reporting, double materiality, and strategy development, contributing to numerous projects focused on aligning corporate sustainability with business objectives.

Selin has a diverse background spanning market analysis, sustainability consulting, and international business development. She began her career as a market analyst at a next-generation consulting firm, working on international projects. She later transitioned into the textile industry, where she served as a Sales, Marketing, and Sustainability Consultant at a global fabric manufacturer, engaging with an international clientele.

To deepen her expertise in sustainability, Selin earned an MSc in Sustainability Management from ESADE Business School in Spain, gaining expertise in global reporting standards, corporate sustainability strategies, and effective sustainability communication.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a double major in Psychology.


Sefa Eren BSc. - Software Developer

Sefa Eren is a Software Developer at CageSuite, contributing to the analysis, database architecture, and digital solutions that power the CageSuite sustainability framework. He has been a key figure in the development of CageCarbon, CageCBAM, CagePCF, and other applications, playing an integral role in building their infrastructure and functionality.

Sefa has experience in software project management, software design, open-source development, industrial LCA software, and database development. His expertise extends to web, desktop software, and API development, ensuring seamless integration across the CageSuite platform. He also has a strong interest in CAD and BIM software, further expanding his technical capabilities.

Sefa holds a degree in Computer Engineering.
